So here it is, the big news! I am thrilled to finally announce my sponsorship with Griggs. I am really looking forward to an exciting season ahead with NPS Figi and Edeon Dos Grous. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Griggs for their support. They sell a wide range of items and they can all be found online at www.magrigg.co.uk.
Things didn’t go quite to plan since last months blog.. about 6 weeks ago I ended up with appendicitis which resulted in them being taken out in surgery so I had to take it easy for a few weeks. Luckily for me, Andrew Williams looked after them for me and kept them ticking over whilst I wasn’t able to, so thank you Andrew and his team for doing a great job looking after them!
Since being back on board, Bev and I have been training a lot getting the horses back to where they should be. I took them both to the Easter Extravaganza at Colraine and they both jumped some really good rounds! I on the other hand, didn’t feel as fit as they did. It is surprising how unfit you get from having a few weeks in bed!

Then the fun part… the first outdoor show of the season at the David Broome Event Centre this weekend just gone. Ed jumped some super rounds in the Newcomers, 1.15 & Foxhunter classes. Ed seems to be really stepping up and gets better and better each week finding the Foxhunter (1m20) classes easy, so I can’t help but get excited about his future. Figi is now jumping double clear round British Novice &Discovery classes and has really improved over the couple of weeks and her future is looking promising too!
April is looking to be a busy month for me packed with training and shows! I am off to Colraine this weekend and then the Welsh Masters the week after so fingers crossed again for a good show.
All my videos will be posted to by youtube channel which is elle.mccoan and my new Facebook page ‘Elle McCoan Showjumper’.
