Animalife supports top event riders

June 8, 2015

Animalife, are expanding their support for event riders with the introduction of Izzy Taylor and Austin O’Connor to the team.

Animalife’s support for riders is at the core of their business. The Team Animalife scheme has proved a huge success since launching in 2013.

Izzy Taylor is following an Eventing dynasty; her grandmother, great aunt and mother all successful in their fields. Izzy is part of the World Class Elite Performance Squad. She has seen great results with two top 20 placings at Badminton in 2014 and numerous wins at CIC and CCI competitions. This season Izzy has around 21 horses in work and is aiming for the Europeans at Blair, as well as maintaining her place in Team GBR in the FEI CICO3* Eventing Nations Cup series whilst establishing her younger horses through the levels.

Having been a skeptic about supplements prior to using Animalife’s range, Izzy is thrilled with the results. “Vetrocalm has helped improve a hot horse’s concentration levels markedly. Vetrofen has made a dramatic difference to the suppleness of one of my older horses. It is great to have peace of mind that all my horses’ nutritional needs are being met, enabling them to maintain performance across all levels.”

Austin O'Connor

Oxfordshire-based Austin O’Connor is an Irish three day eventer, and having been brought up surrounded by horses, became the youngest person to complete a CCI2*, Punchestown, at the age of 13. Having represented Ireland at both the Sydney and Beijing Olympics, Austin finished 2014 in the top 20 British Eventing rider rankings and now has a string of equines ranging from 4 year olds to 4* horses.

Ross Riley, Company Director at Animalife, is looking forward to working with both Izzy and Austin. He says: “Both Izzy and Austin are great ambassadors for Animalife and I look forward to being able to support them in their imminent successes.”
