Sports fashion is high on the agenda at the moment, with companies taking much more responsibility in ensuring clothing not only aids performance, but also that it looks great too. I can often be found in my favourite pair of jodphur boots teamed with skinny, breeches-like, jeans even when I’m not on a horse.
Clothing designed for both style and performance is something that american company, Noble Outfitters, are excelling at.
Pictured is their brand ambassador, and promising young Eventer, Sophie Beaty, wearing the Elite Performance Jacket.
I was also lucky enough to get this jacket to review. Here’s what I thought:
Visually, the jacket is very nice. Its quality speaks for itself. I am a sucker for the cold and so the first thing I wanted to know was; “Is it warm?”
The answer: “Yes”
The jacket is warm and very waterproof. The water drops sit on the surface of the material and run off like ‘water off a duck’s back’.
The fastenings are strong and great quality. It also has a “2-way front zipper covered by snaps” this proves very useful when you’re on a horse!
- 100% waterproof, fully seam sealed and breathable
- 120 gram polyester insulated lining for added warmth
- Dual action hand pockets
- Adjustable waist cinch
- Detachable 3 panel adjustable hood, zips off
I like the fact that the hood can also be taken on and off and overall I rate this jacket very highly!
Colours: Navy or Black.
