Para Dressage Riders Teal Anthoney Training

Teal Anthoney’s Para-dressage Blog | Meet new horse Leo…

April 4, 2018

Hello!

For those of you who haven’t seen my previous blogs for A Country Lady, my name is Teal Anthoney and I am a para dressage rider from Cornwall.

I have had some time off from blogging as I’ve been through a bit of a rough patch with horses over the last year or so but I finally feel like I’m back on track and am really looking forward to getting back to my blogging again!

First I should introduce my lovely horse Leo.

I’ve had Leo just over 12 months now, he’s not been easy as he was very over-reactive when I bought him and I spent most of my time shouting “loose horse!!!” for the first few months I owned him!

12 months down the line, he is a different horse. He’s now working at Elementary level and I feel as though we have a really lovely partnership, he’s much more confident and no longer panics when he faces situations that worry him.

Here are some photos of Leo and I:

I’m going to try and do a blog for A Country Lady once a month but I don’t want them to be solely about me, so along with updates on how Leo and I are getting on, I will also include information on products I use and some helpful training tips for dressage!

If you have any training queries you would like me to write about please visit my page Wonky Dressage and drop me a PM!

Thanks for reading!
