Dressage Equestrian Eventing Reviews

Topline Equestrian

July 28, 2015

When I talk with my mother, she is always amazed at how much riding attire has changed in the 50 years she’s been riding.  She’s incredibly envious of what us riders now wear.

Take the breeches below for example, designed to fit like a glove, with elastic flex inserts at the back and sides (from thigh to ankle), a full suede seat, and considered detail which competes with any fashion designer.  Riding clothing has changed, but for the better.

This week, I got to take a pair of Topline Equestrian’s Euro Star Laureta Breeches (pictured) for a ride. It’s easy to see why these were winners of the 2013 St Georg Award for ‘Best riding breeches’. They are a perfect example of breeches which showcase improved performance, as well as a fashion conscious design.

I’m honestly struggling to find a negative thing to say about these breeches.

What I love the most about them is the fit. They are super comfy. They don’t gather in the wrong places, like many breeches do. The ankles are also elasticated which makes them really easy to slide on and off – no more red marks where breeches have been cutting your circulation off either!

The breeches retail for £99.99.

Euro-Star Philine Polo Shirt

I’ve felt thoroughly spoilt this week, having not only Euro-Star breeches but also a Euro-Star polo-shirt (pictured below) too. This top is perfect for riding.  I also rather like the colour, Wasabi Green.

The polo-shirt has got a stretch to it which ensures that it fully supports movement whilst riding.  Being 80% cotton this also ensures that your body can breathe, regulating your body temperature.
