My Christmas Lust List 2015

December 17, 2015

Merry Christmas everyone!  I hope you are starting to feel in the Christmas spirit.

For those of you lacking inspiration or struggling to choose what horsey items to buy your loved one, or yourself ;-), the below may help.  These are some of my personal favourite things at the moment.

For Horse

A Country Lady Christmas List

Schockemöhle Sports GmbH girth, Eqclusive HAAS Brushes, Safe-Care Equine barrier cream, PS of Sweden bridle, Bioflow Pets boots & Olgivy saddle pad‬.

Firstly, can I start by saying check out that bridle. I’m in love. Yet to get my hands on one but when I do you will all be the first to hear about it!

Safe-Care Equine barrier cream has been an absolute saviour for me this year.  My mare, Zara, has been prone to getting mud fever but so far this winter we are mud fever free – hooray! Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Some of you may also have read this post which I wrote in October about HAAS brushes – I absolutely love them. I will never ever skimp on brushes again.

One thing I am dying to get my hands on is an Olgivy saddle pad, they are pricey but I’ve heard some very good reviews.

For Rider

A Country Lady Christmas List

eGloves, Ariat Challenge Contour boots, Dada competiton shirt (from Arka Equipe) & Manfredi Belt.

I’ve found my favourite competition shirt ever (review here) from Arka Equipe. Suitable for both dressage and show jumping competitions.

I’ve also made a new discovery this year and one which surprised me,  Ariat long boots are great. I’ve always lusted after the likes of De Niro’s and Parlanti’s, but never Ariat. My opinion has changed – the boots are super comfy, snug on the leg, quality, and affordable! No longer do I resemble a complete scruff on the yard.

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone and thank you all for your support in reading the blog.  Here’s to 2016!

Abi x
